Korea Tooth Bank Shares the Future of Dental Innovation
at the 2025 SNU & AFI Joint Symposium

On November 3–4, Korea Tooth Bank (KTB) participated in the
“2025 SNU & AFI Joint Symposium,” held at the Faculty Conference Hall of Seoul National University.
The symposium was hosted by the SNU & AFI Joint Research Center and
the Biotechnology Joint Research Institute of Seoul National University, and
supported by Seoul National University, the SNU School of Dentistry, and Dental Bean.
It served as a meaningful forum to explore the future of oral health
through the convergence of dentistry and biotechnology.
As an innovation-driven company in the field of dentistry,
Korea Tooth Bank presented both a poster and an oral presentation titled
“The World’s First Development of Tooth-Derived Bone Graft Material.”

In the presentation, KTB introduced itself as the first company in the world to
develop tooth-derived bone graft material,
highlighting the safety and excellence of its products based on
extensive domestic and international certifications, patents, and robust clinical data.

In particular, Korea Tooth Bank’s tooth-derived bone graft attracted attention as an ideal bone graft material,
as it shares the same key components as autogenous bone—the gold standard in bone grafting—and therefore
provides all three capacities of osteoinduction, osteogenesis, and osteoconduction.
KTB also emphasized that all tooth-derived bone grafts processed by Korea Tooth Bank
maintain consistent efficacy and quality, backed by rigorous quality management systems that
comply with international standards and ensure strong clinical reliability.
At the Forefront of Medical Innovation, Poised for a New Global Leap
This symposium was evaluated not merely as an academic meeting,
but as a true platform for convergence where academia and industry grow together.
The tooth-derived bone graft technologies developed by Korea Tooth Bank left a
strong impression on researchers and industry stakeholders from the global dental community.

Going forward, Korea Tooth Bank will continue to lead innovation in the field of bone regeneration biomaterials through
continuous research and development and strengthened global collaboration,
while further enhancing its technological competitiveness and credibility in markets worldwide.
