What is Tooth-Derived Bone Graft Material?
Tooth-derived bone graft material is an eco-friendly biomaterial that transforms teeth back into bone, improving the success rate of dental implants.
It is an innovative biotherapeutic material, developed for the first time in the world by Korea Tooth Bank, that processes extracted teeth—previously discarded as waste—into graft material that promotes bone regeneration.
Teeth share the same organic and inorganic components as alveolar bone, and tooth-derived bone graft material possesses osteogenic (induction), osteoconductive (conduction), and bone remodeling capabilities, meeting the demanding requirements of graft materials used in dental implant procedures that must withstand masticatory forces.

- Korea Tooth Bank Successfully Concludes Lecture on Tooth-Derived Bone Graft for Malaysian Dental Specialists On October 26, Korea Tooth Bank (KTB) was invited by the College of Dental Specialists, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, to deliver a special lecture titled “Regenerate with Confidence: Mastering Bone Grafting with Tooth-Derived Bone Graft.” This lecture combined both theoretical and hands-on training on tooth-derived bone grafts, offering local dental specialists the opportunity to experience firsthand the excellence, workability, and clinical potential of Korea Tooth Bank’s innovative biomaterials.
